“Are you okay?” Benny’s brow furrowed with concern. “Have you been eating some sketchy stuff? I’ll take you to the doctor.”
“Don’t bother.” Flossie waved him off. “I have some medicines. I’ll bounce back. There’s no need to be concerned about me.”
“That’s good to hear.” Benny sighed, relieved.
He tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. “Oh, and I’ve got plans for us tomorrow.”
